07 / IT strategy, budgets & licensing optimization
A clearer decision.
A practical way forward.
Get a considered view of what to change, why it matters, and what it will take. Advisory work connects technology choices to the way your business actually operates.

Which technology decision would be easier with a clear set of options?
A growing business can accumulate competing advice, overlapping tools, and a backlog of improvements. Focus the conversation on a concrete decision, its business impact, and the people who will be responsible for the result.
Where we can help
- IT operating budgets, project estimates, and refresh planning
- Microsoft, Google, SaaS, and cloud licensing or subscription reviews
- Unused or overlapping license identification and role-based license planning
- Vendor renewals, purchasing options, and contract-inventory reviews
- Technology inventory, spend, and adoption reporting
- Dashboards for agreed access, device, licensing, or operational measures
- Prioritized modernization roadmaps and a scoped Decision Brief
- Scheduled ongoing advisory under a separate agreement
ILLUSTRATIVE PROJECT SCOPE
Understand the spend. Choose the next improvement.
Review agreed invoices, license assignments, usage reports, and device or cloud inventories. Identify waste or overlap, check the capabilities each role needs, and build a budget with renewal dates and implementation priorities. Recommendations explain assumptions and dependencies before any license is removed or changed.
What you take forward
- A spend and licensing view based on the agreed evidence
- A prioritized optimization plan and budget assumptions
- A reporting or decision framework with owners and next steps
Final deliverables are defined in the written scope.
AGREE THE BOUNDARIES
A clear scope
makes the difference.
Advisory is scoped to the decision, not an unlimited audit of the company. Cost ranges are planning estimates until vendors and delivery scope are confirmed. Ongoing meetings, project execution, and managed support have separate agreements.
Is advisory only for businesses with no IT team?
No. An internal team or current provider can contribute the technical context while the engagement focuses on a business decision, independent review, or a project that needs additional planning.
Can you implement the recommendations?
Where the work matches the practice and available capacity, implementation can be quoted separately. You can also take the plan to your existing team or another provider.
